World Carfree Day

Each year the Velo community of our city organizes contests, presentations, bike rides devoted to world car-free day. In 2009 such event was called VeloHora (from national Moldovan dance Hora). It seemed that this year all people of the city changed their cars to bikes. And here is the proof.
People from neighbour countries come to Chisinau to participate in cross-country, free-style and racing competitions.
Moldovan bike riders often organize bike trips to beautiful places of Moldova. Our Codru forests and hills are the best places for cross-country and Mountain Bike.
You are Welcome to Chisinau (either with your bike or rent it here) and participate in our bike events.
